How to Make a Mango Margarita

"Hi, this is Lauden Vergara and I'm with ABC Bartending Schools here in Miami, Florida. In this clip we're going to show you how to make a Mango Margarita. Well, what is a margarita? It's typically a Mexican drink, right? Tequila, triple sec, a little sour mix, very citrusy, but we're going to put a different swing into this one, okay. I'm going to start off with a nice tin of ice. Like always margaritas will take tequila, put about four seconds worth of tequila in here. I'm going to put some triple sec in there, about two seconds worth. And then we're going to add our sour mix. Well, what's going to make this a mango, let me grab some mango juice, become a little different, pour some mango juice in there, just a little bit to give it that mango flavor, okay. Put your lid, and give it a really good shake. Now we're in Miami, there's mango trees everywhere and very similar to the Mango Martini, the Mango Margarita is becoming the next popular hit. Well like I was mentioning earlier this is a mango so maybe if you get a fresh mango, get a couple of slices, you can decorate it with that Maybe add some mint leaves, put your own touch into it. The good thing about making drinks is you can make whatever you like. It's not really wrong if you like the way it tastes. Now to give this Mango Margarita a little bit of a different variation, spice it up with a little Maderia, it goes very well with it and it adds that lovely color.
