You can go to the IRS website at www.irs.gov and click on the individuals tab at the top. Several topics will appear and you'll want to click on the IRS E-file, Filing Your Taxes Online Was Never Easier and it's about half way down the page on your list of topics that you'll pull up. Then you'll be brought to a page IRS E-file, Filing Your Taxes Online Was Never Easier and a table at the top your IRS E-file options, under the individual tax payers there is a line that says you can file online for free through the free file program. If you click on the underlined words File Online For Free, it will pull up the free file page and there is two different ways you can file for free. There is a traditional free file and there is a free file fillable forms. We'll choose the free file fillable forms and then you'll click on choose fillable forms again. This will take you away from the IRS website to www.freefilefillableforms.com website and there you'll have the opportunity to create a secure account, view and complete your forms and review the frequently asked questions and with these free file forms you will be mailing in your forms. If you want to e-file, there is a fee that goes along with that."
