Hello, my name is Keegan Hitchcock from Body Art By Keegan and we're here in Fort Lauderdale at One Model Place Studios. In this clip, I'm going to show you how to apply ballroom makeup. In Ballroom competitions, there are dancers of all ages and today we're going to do a young ballroom dancer. So, we're going to start on her eyes going to give her a natural look. So, we're going to take a light cream color. Close your eyes please and we're going to go lightly all the way across her eye to make them pop a little bit more brighten them up. Next, we're going to use a liner to give a little bit more definition which you can use a brown or a black being ballrooms are a little more theatrical. I'm going to use a charcoal color kind of a grayish. Pop them a little bit more just line right next to her lashes. If you have a very fantastical costume, you can go a little bit more intense with this but generally we want to make them pop and look very pretty but we don't want to over do it just a little bit to make your stand out more than she does naturally and then go back over that with our shadow brush to blend not too harsh. Okay. you can open. Next, we're going to do cheeks. I'm going to give her that bright youthful lively look. Smile for me. Apply right on the apple of the cheeks smile again right on the apples. Blend it outward. It looks a little more natural. Brings color to her face. Smile again. Next we're going to do her lips. We are going to line the lips first. This will give definition as well as hold your color on for the duration of the performance. So, we're not only lining the outside of her lips but covering the entire lip. Turn towards me please and we're going to go over that with our color. Add a little bit of a reddish color with some gloss in there. So, we got her eyes done. We got her cheeks. We made her lips pop a little bit more and we are all set and this is Keegan Hitchcock and this is makeup ballroom dancing.
