"Hi, I'm Deb Cikovic with Duel Dot Media. Today I'm going to show you how to make paint brushes in Photoshop. We're going to start with a 250 by 250 pixel area on 350 DPIs, just a black and white pallet. I'm just going to use a plain shape for my shapes. Then we're going to rasterize the shape in, using the edit we're going to go up to edit, we're going to hit define brush, give it a name and hit OK. Now you do have a brush at this point and it will appear in your brush pallet. However as soon as you close Photoshop it'll go away. See its right there at the very bottom so to keep it forever you have to add it to your brushes. So we're going to get a preset manager and select it and give it a name, hit save and now your brush will always be there. So let's see how your brush looks in different colors and different sizes. That's the same size, we'll go down, it's nice and smooth we'll change change colors, you can make it continuous my holding your shift down and that's it."
