Hi there my name is Lisa Nandor from we're out on location at World of Gymnastics. We are located in Woodstock, Georgia. On campus we have competitive and recreational gymnastics and cheerleading. We also have swimming lessons available. So today we're going to talk about how to become a gymnast. Here at World of Gymnastics you become a gymnast by basically registering a class. So you are going to come in. You want to find your local gym and you're going to want to look at their schedule and register for a class. Once you get into that class you want to make sure that you, the parents know the instructor's name. You want to get to know your instructor really really well because their the ones that are teaching your children. You want to know the philosophy of your gym. Some gyms are very geared towards their teams and competitive programs. You want to make sure that you find the best fit for your child. There are also gyms that don't have competitive programs so they're geared more towards recreational. So once you get in the gym you want to make sure that your children are progressing at an optimum level. Once they progress remember the more hours they spend in the gym, the stronger gymnast they become as well as if they are doing a lot of the conditioning and exercises at home, they are also training their bodies to move a little bit faster. So basically how you become a gymnast is you just have to come in and register and sign up for a class. All ages are welcome.
