-
Step 1
Log in to your Go Daddy Account
-
Step 2
Select My Domains. A list of domains you've purchased will appear.
-
Step 3
Select the domain you want to use to re-direct and cloak your affiliate link.
-
Step 4
Click Forward.
-
Step 5
On the Forwarding tab, click Enable Forwarding. Paste your affiliate link in the space. Choose either 301 Permanent or 301 temporary. It doesn't matter which.
-
Step 6
On the Masking tab, click Enable Masking. If you don't enable masking, you will simply redirect to your original affiliate link. That would defeat the purpose of cloaking it. You may enter meta tags, meta title and meta description if you wish, but they are not required. See attached video for demo.
-
Step 7
Finally, click OK. At this point, Go Daddy will process and cloak your affiliate link. Allow 10 minutes to 5 hours, depending on how busy the registrar is. Typically, it takes 10 minutes.
-
Step 8
After 10 minutes, check your new domain name in the browser. It should immediately re-direct to your affiliate page. If not, repeat the process until fixed.

on 8/12/2009 I'm getting better with this. Thanks, Jswana (by the way I just learned that if I highlight the stars in the comment section, the rating doesn't show. I am your 7th rating of today). Jswana
