"As far as referring to a person as an interest claims agent; I mean, that's not wrong per se; but the correct; it's not the correct terminology. An agent is actually someone that has a license to sell and negotiate on behalf of the insurance company and the insured. The insurance claim adjuster is the person who handles the claims end of it whenever something happens and you have to file a claim; that's who you would work with. And they work directly with the insurance company. For an insurance agent; first you have to take class time and then you have to take a, a state exam. For the adjuster, you do not have to take the classroom time; you just, you do have to take the state exam though. And a lot of most insurance companies, when they're looking for an adjuster, they look for someone that has like a degree in business or something along that lines. As far as an insurance agent, you don't; you know; it doesn't matter whether you have a college degree or not. You just have to go and take the class and, and pass the test. And there, there are some online courses that you can take to, to help you prepare and study for the exam; being an adjuster or an agent. And, and being an adjuster, it's, you, it's a lot of work from what I've, I've heard. To, you know, the knowledge 'cause you have to know values of things and how to, you know, how to come up with; you know; there's, you don't have a book in front of you all the time and so, if there's a damage to a vehicle, then you need to know how much it's going to cost that to have that fixed before you can; you know; make an offer to the insurer. But the best experience to become like an auto adjuster is to actually work in an, an mechanic shop or an auto body shop 'cause then you have experience and know in; you know; what's broken and how would it needs to be fixed. So it's very helpful in that area."
