"Hi this is Stacey and in this video I will show you some ideas for making bookmarks. The first idea is to make a construction paper bookmark. Your child will pick their favorite color of paper and you may need to help them cut it out. I'm just going to make like a wavy design. Depending on the age of your child you will probably have to do this for them. Next you will decorate your book mark with markers, paint, stickers, ribbon any craft supplies that you have. You can have your child write their name or just write letters on it. The next idea is to make a book mark using laminating film, contact paper or packing tape and you're going to use tissue paper or construction paper and you're just going to place it on the sticky side. I have chose tissue paper so you'll want to let your child choose their favorite colors and rip them into little pieces and put them on your paper and then after you have placed them on there you are going to fold, then you're going to fold, then you are going to fold it over or you can put another sheet on top of it. Now we're going to cut our bookmark out. I'm going to choose to make a rectangle. You can choose whatever shape you'd like. After you have cut it out you have completed your bookmark. The last idea for a bookmark is to use foam which you can find at your local craft store. You can also buy letters made of foam or their favorite characters and you will need craft glue to place them on your bookmark and your child can spell their name and design their bookmark how they like."
