"It's Chris Fernandez and Eric McMullen at Flash Academy here in Salt Lake City, Utah. We're here now talk about side stepping. Side stepping is a great defensive movement when you when you have an aggressive fighter coming at you, you want to create an angle by stepping to the side. First of all, you're going to create an angle by stepping to the right side as he's comin' in so I step and the opponent will step into the side, he's comin' in he's aggressive and move and create an angle. So, now when I'm going to step to the side, try one time. Now, I step to the side, he's going to turn the entire body to try to defend himself and so that's where the point of side stepping is you're creating an angle which I have the once I've create that angle I have the advantage on on him. The second side step would be to the opposite side which is the left side so as he's comin' in, step here and just pivot and so basically what I'm doin' is he's going to turn his entire body well to defend himself against me and if he doesn't, I have the advantage where I get him when I turn around right and left took. And so basically when I'm doing the side step, I'm stepping and just turn my back leg."
