"Hi this is Billy Coulter at Fort Lauderdale Archers in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this clip I'm going to show you how to sight in a fixed pin sight. What's nice about the fixed pin sights is they do have multiple sight references on there, as you can see this is a 5 pin sight. Now they do also have different color fiber optics so it's not that hard to get them mixed up and shoot different yardages. Generally when you're sighting in depending on what you're going for, you want to go from anywhere from a low of 20 to preferably a high of 60 depending on how comfortable you are shooting. Now when actually sighting in your bow, you want to make sure everything is square and centered. Now when you shoot your first arrow take note of where it hit. Shoot another one and if it's in the same general area, then you can start to move your sight. When actual sighting in your bow you want to follow the arrow. So if you're shooting higher right you want to loosen your sight. This would be where you loosen for left and right, you want to loosen this, slide it a little bit right OK? And when you're going up and down, you could do major adjustments right here on this side. This lets the whole sight ring move up and down. For more precise sight adjustments you do have individual pin adjustments here. You can move each of the 5 pins up or down. As you can see I have taken the sight off the bow to make it a little easier to understand the mechanics of a sight. As I said earlier if you loosen this screw right here you will have full advantage of moving the sight left and right. You see you loosen and that does slide left to right. Now most of your sights do come with hash marks engraved or in a sticker form on them. Make it really easy to remember where you had your sight. OK? Once you get it where you need it, you're going to want to tighten these up pretty snug but don't over tighten, they are just aluminum. As far as like I said before the precise movements on your pins what you want to do is gently loosen the pin up, like I said there are fiber optics in here and if they break they are kind of a pain to replace OK? And as you can see they do move, they do go up and they go down for your very fine precise movements. This has been Billy Coulter, thank you for watching."
