"Hi, I'm Kevin Russell. I'm Volleyball Coach here in South Beach, Florida. In this clip we're going to go over how to volley a volleyball. What you want to do is you want to take a serve and you use all three hits, what we talked about. It's going to be pass, set and hit. If we can continue to play, the other people will dig the ball which is pass; they're going to set the ball and they're going to hit it. Then, we're going to continue that until the ball goes through. So we're going to have them serve and I'm going to pass the ball, she's going to set, we're going to hit. Now I hit the net so, so we're going to pass the ball again, she's going to set. Normally, what we do is, since I had the kill, we will be serving the ball, but for demonstration purposes; they're going to serve the ball again just so you can see our pass, set and hit one more time. So it's going to be pass; she's going to set the ball and I'm going to hit. Some tips I can give you on volleying a volleyball is again to use form. Form is the most crucial thing that you can do. You got to have good form to do anything. So we're going to pass the ball; again, you want to pass the ball. You want your legs about shoulder width apart; you want to get down; you want to use your legs and shoulders. You don't want to swing your arms; you don't want to stand straight up. So what you're going to do, come down and you're going to use your shoulders; just basically scrunch them up to your ears; get you a good high pass that doesn't go too far forward; doesn't go backwards; it's just going to be a nice easy pass. Then your setter can set you a ball. They can use their hands and set you a ball or again, they can use the pass and help you set a ball and then you got a great opportunity to hit a ball and really really look at with the kill. Once again, I'm Kevin Russell and thank you for watching."
