"Hello! This is Steve Neilson here, also known as Stevie Slick with NWA UCW Zero in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are a professional wrestling promotion and a professional wrestling school. As far as getting a job in the world of professional wrestling, not an easy thing to do. There's two organizations currently in existence in this country that have a halfway decent paycheck connected with professional wrestling. One and that most people have heard of is the WWE, World Wrestling Entertainment. They are the largest professional wrestling company in the world. The other is TNA out of Florida. They are a much smaller company but they have an ongoing product program and a television show. They also hold live shows around the country. So, that's one of the two places that you can also get a job. Independent wrestling circuits in this country are no longer like they used to be years ago where different companies would have a protected territory and the wrestlers would move from territory to territory and work within that territory. And the shows would back then draw a very sizable crowds and people could actually make a living in independent wrestling. Times have changed with the advent of everybody in their dog. Basically, being able to buy a wrestling ring and doing a wrestling show and barge parking lots anywhere else. That's changed quite a lot. An independent wrestling, it's very difficult to any kind of living and but is you're going to do it because you love this sport and the athleticism and the entertainment value of it. It's great but as far as making a living there, you're going to feed your family and do it. It's not going to happen in independent wrestling. It's only going to happen with one of the two major companies in the world and unfortunately that's the way it is right now."
