"I'm Dr. Jeffrey Epstein of the Foundation for Hair Restoration with offices in South Florida and New York. For almost as long as history has been recorded, there's been attempts by mankind to treat hair loss. And the modern treatments involved with medicine today are both surgical and medical. The medical treatments include, for men, Propecia, as well as Rogaine for both men and women, and the newer treatment of low-level laser light therapy. Surgically, which is my area of expertise, although I do offer the other treatments as well, are the procedures primarily, hair transplantation. The concept behind hair transplantation is we're taking hair from one part of the scalp -- the permanent part where hair grows -- and transplanting it or moving it to areas of the scalp where hair doesn't grow, and it makes for a...and the hair will then grow for a lifetime."
