"Hi, my name is Marc Mencher, president of GameRecruiter.com and we're here at Dark Side Games Studios in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Video game systems came into being around the nineteen-fifties. In North America, one of the first video game systems we had available to use was the Magnavox Odyssey System. Atari 2600 was the next system that came after Magnavox. We've basically now are in our seventh generation of game console systems, the first ones I mention, being generation one. Now today, we see Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii being the makeup of the seventh generation and the difference obviously between these systems have been more robust memory, more robust graphics. Right today, we have photo-realistic abilities. Clearly the Odyssey, which was bit based, was not photo-realistic at all and today we are moving into that realm and we'll, we're very excited to see what will happen with the a, the eight generation of machines which should be released within the next two years. Last twenty years, we've seen a major jump in the consoles performance ability. We've moved from eight bit systems to now hundred and twenty-eight, even higher systems that make it very difficult to tell the difference between is this real? Is this a movie? What's going on here? We've come along way from the bitted images of Pong and the and the, and we're moving now to a Merca game play where you are the avatar in the game and much more on-line interactive, multi-player kinds of experiences. So as the new consoles come out, they're going to be much more networkable, much more interfaced with the Internet so that we're com, we're playing with larger communities. You know in the next ten years, my expectation is that we're going to be moving towards the Star Trek holodeck experience where you can make a program, walk into that world and and have an experience just like they did in Star Trek. We're seeing the government funding these types of things right now and that'll trickle down into mass market within the next ten years."
