"Hello my name is Chuck Orlandi with Miami Shores Auto Repair here in Miami Shores, Florida. When it comes to motor control schematics to understand that it is very complicated on cars these days. We have a computer program where I can enter in any vehicle and it will show me all the wire diagrams, any particular thing that I am looking for I can find on that computer. A lot of times the cars have a computer that runs the engine then they have another computer that runs the body control stuff such as the windows, door locks, all those type of things. When we have a problem normally you will have the check engine light come on and we hook up our computer to that and it will tell us what particular thing is bad or failing or giving a symptom then I will go into my other computer, look up the schematics and you'll find out what item is failing and then either replace it or it could be as simple as a broken wire, a bad connection, or a failed part so you have to go in and do the diagnostics, that is one of the more complicated things to figure out on todays cars. It takes a lot of knowledge, a lot of experience and keeping up with the times that is basically what it amounts to. No costs, I can't give any costs for replacing any of this type of stuff. It can get very costly in time and also in parts."
