"What we have on Janelle right here is not the traditional kimono but what we're doing is creating our own kimono silhouette which you can create, if you have a medium length three quarter length shirt and that's kind of long. What we can do is take a belt and just, a belt kind of like this that's high waisted like a wide belt and just like wrap it around yourself. it's not the traditional kind but the traditional kind is usually made out of a heavier or a silk material and it's not really that wearable. A lot of designers a few years back brought the kimono back out and they were a lighter fabric that can actually be worn. I think Kimora, she made a couple of them. But this our rendition of an up to date kimono silhouette, not actually a kimono. Just wrap it around and you can just tie it like this and bring it like that, you have the silhouette of a kimono, not exactly. And then we put some chop sticks in her hair to give her that Asian look. So this is your, you can have a kimono, you can wear a kimono look but not the actual kimono."
