"This is financial advisor Patrick Munro, talking about how to sell a timeshare. Timeshares are popular with Americans because we are an a society that's always on the move; traveling, enjoying resort destinations, and when you're at a resort many times you have an opportunity to participate in real estate ownership via a timeshare. Things change in life though, and sometimes you'll come at a point where you'll want to sell your timeshare. The best way to do that is through a wholesaler. They're better at it than you are, and what you would do is go online and find out a company that you're comfortable with. They would give them all the details of your timeshare. Normally, there are no upfront fees. Avoid companies that require upfront fees, and then develop a price that you're comfortable with. And of course there is a fee, much like a real estate transaction, that the company will charge you to successfully sell your timeshare to someone else. Once that occurs then you have successfully sold your timeshare. This is financial advisor Patrick Munro, talking about how to sell a timeshare."
