"Hi, in this clip what we are going to learn how to do is replace motorcycle seat covers. Now this bike is a Suzuki SV 650. It is probably not going to be the same for your bike unless you have this exact bike but I am just going to show you generally how this is done. The first step you want to make sure you have is your replacement seat cover on the side. You also want to make sure you have the correct tools. I have some Allen wrenches here so let's get down to business. So on this bike you are going to notice that you have a bolt right here and this is an Allen wrench. It might be different for your bike but what you are going to start off by doing is just removing this bolt. Now make sure that you have examined on both sides of the bike where the nuts and bolts are so you'll know what types of tools to use to take it off. So on this bike you have a plastic cover here and you are just going to pop this thing off. Alright now what you are going to notice is there will be usually a little tab sticking down from the seat that will connect the bike frame and it will be some kind of a bolt. For this one we are going to use an Allen wrench. A good idea is to make sure you put your bolt in the same place. If you just put them down on the ground you might lose them and then you can't put your new seat on. A good place to put them is in a little plastic thing if you have got one. Just stick it in there and set it aside. Now on the other side I have already taken off the plastic thing so your seat should just kind of pop off like this. Now you are going to notice that on your old seat you have got a couple of tabs that stick out here. These just kind of hook into some latches that are right here and on your new seat cover you are going to find a couple of the same tabs and make sure that it fits on the bike. What you can do is you can ask the retailer or check with your manufacturer to make sure that the seat cover you buy does fit the bike that you have. Alright so after you have got your new seat, this is the same seat for the purposes of this demonstration, but you are going to get your new seat. You are just going to want to slide it into the, there is a couple of latches right here and you have got some tabs so you are going to want to just slide it right up into there. It is going to pop in and it is going to go down. Now back here you are going to want to make sure that this tab that sticks down fits and it is showing the hole in the frame that the bolt goes back through. So you are going to grab your bolts and you are going to screw them in and as far as tightness goes check your manual. Your manual can tell you how many pounds per square inch or what force you are going to need to get the exact correct torque on the seat so it doesn't pop off when you are riding your bike, that's one thing you don't want to have happen. Alright then we are going to put the cover back on and we're going to get this bolt in there and again with this last bolt check your manual and make sure you have got the exact torque on this bolt so that everything fits correctly on the bike seat and the same goes for the other side of the bike."
