"OK, now we're going to learn how to do vector art in Adobe Illustrator, which really, in pretty much anything that you're doing in Illustrator will in be in vector form. So it's pretty much up to you what you want to do, but let's have a play around. You've got your shapes over here. So I'll just go through and kind of show you what the tools do so you can kind of learn from that. So you know you've got the squares, your rounded, you've got your circles, your octagons, or whatever it is, polygons, you've got your star shape. So if we want a star over here like this and drag that out. You've got your colors over here. You've got swatches on this side. Right now it's, let me just explain this, this bottom one here is going to be the stroke around the shape and the top one is going to be the color inside the shape. Say if we want to switch them around, see the faint line is in white around it and the inside is orange. So that's the shape tool. Then on this side you've got the straight line tool. So you can, generally you want to stroke that so say you want to make it black. Black by double clicking and then you want to make it the foreground. You've got your faint little line here and you've got your spray paint over here. Generally when you use the old spray paint you need to have the brush selected or a symbol. You've got a couple of apples dragging around. It doesn't look too good so we'll get rid of that. You got, if you want to use brushes then you've got to go over here to the brush tool and pick a side of the brush you want to use. Do whatever it is you need to do with that. And it's plenty of stuff. Illustrator is what it is, it's the artwork, it's up to the eye of the beholder really. So you got your warp tool over here which is a pretty cool little tool. Basically if you click on the white just like that you can kind of bend around the little gradient that we've got going on inside. And add more points to it and kind of drag them out. That's the cool thing about the warp tool. You can kind of do whatever you want. Very abstract looking stuff with that one. But yeah, just have a play. That's basically how you go about creating vector art in Illustrator."
