"Hey, it's Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert here, and I'm going to show you how to connect your VCR to your computer. Pretty simple procedure, really. Connecting things together is about in and out, in and out, in and out. In this case, we want the video out from our VCR to go in to our computer so we can record. Let's take a look at how to do that. The first thing is we want to go ahead and hook up our super video cable here to the back of our VCR and we want to hook up our audio cables. Make sure you match the colors -- the red to red, the white to white. Okay. So now we've got our video and our audio coming out of our VCR, and now we've got to get it into our computer. Not a big deal. Most modern computers now are going to come with a super video input built right into the side of it, and we simply line up our connectors, slip it right in. Now, the end of our audio cable comes down to a headphone type of jack like this. And for that, we simply plug it into the microphone jack here into the front of the computer. Now, we've got our audio, we've got our video. It's hooked up here to our VCR. We launch our favorite video capturing program, and we're ready to go. And that's all there is to hooking your VCR up to your laptop. I'm Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert saying, "Stream you later.""
