"Hey, it's Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert, here, answering the question: How do I record one channel on my VCR while watching another? Gosh, that question has been answered for me for the last two decades, and I'll tell you how to do it. It's so very, very simple. Here's the secret: When you go to set your VCR to record, you want to use the remote control for the VCR to select the channel. Most of the time, we just select a random channel, set this to four, and just hit record. Well, you're not doing that here. You're saying, "Okay. I want you, Mr. VCR, to tune in the channel." Then, while that's being set in record, you use the cable box or your selector here on your monitor to choose the show you'd rather be watching while your other show is being recorded. So that way, you have two separate systems going on at the same time. So remember, use your VCR to set and record the show that you want to by selecting the channel through its remote control or indicators and then use your TV or cable remote control to record the other. I'm Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert, saying, "Stream you later.""
