"Hi, I'm Kelli. I'm an aesthetician and make up artist at Ulta Salon and Cosmetics and I'm going to talk to you today about how to lighten your complexion. There's a couple of different things that you can do to lighten your complexion. If you suffer from a lot of uneveness or discolorations you can use a brightening serum. This is a pearlized brightening serum that'll help to even any discolorations. And you can just on the back of my hand how it kind of lightens it up and gives it a nice luminous sheen. Another thing that you can do is you can actually use a lightening gel. These come in different forms. Hydocodone, a lot of dermatologists would recommend hydocodone. It's an actual skin bleaching agent. It'll actually help to lighten like sun damage, hyper-pigmentation, age spots, that type of thing. This particular one is hydocodone free so it has natural botanicals in it like azelea acid and licorice root which will naturally lighten the skin and lighten any discolorations. another thing that you can do is a chemical peel. Basically what this does, this is a peel pad, it's a blend of glycolic, lactic malic and lactobionic acid which are all Alpha hydoxies. So basically what this does is it goes deeper down in to the epidermis to bring many layers of damaged skin cells to the surface, exfoliate, dissolve them and get rid of them and it brings healthier skin cells to the surface . So it's going to help even your skin tone. It's going to help to lighten your complexion and it's also going to help with any lines or wrinkles. So it basically increases your cellular turn over so you're going to have overall healthier looking skin. So those are some things that you can do to lighten your complexion."
