"Hi I'm Kelli I'm an aesthetician and makeup artist at Ulta Salon and cosmetics and I'm going to talk to you about a couple of things you can do to make your face skin appear lighter. One thing that you can do is to use a brightening serum, basically what this is going to do, it's going to give a brighter appearance to the skin it's going to lighten any discolorations so it's going to give you a more even look. It's also going to give you a brighter more luminous glow. Another thing that you can do is to actually use a skin lightening gel if you suffer from hyper pigmentation or a lot of discolorations on the skin. You can use a lightening gel to target those different spots. Wouldn't you know mine is empty. But basically they come in different types hydrochronoin is an ingredient that you can use, it will lighten discolorations on the skin and there's also a lot of brands that have hydrochronoin free lightening gels and these usually have a licorice root, azelaic acid and a lot of natural of occurring botanicals that can naturally lighten the skin. Another thing you can do if you want to make your face look lighter because maybe your foundation is a little bit dark but you still don't want to, you are not ready to go a little bit lighter on your foundation is you can actually use a lighter powder on top of your foundation and this will help to lighten up your complexion a little bit.
