"Having an emergency first aid kit shows your dedication and forethought into emergency preparedness. Hi! I'm Captain Joe Bruni and what I'm going to talk about is how to make a survival first aid kit. Now, survival first aid kit, first and foremost should be located in some type of container that is impact resistant and floats. Something is simple as this cooler will suffice but any other container that is impact resistant and floats will also work. Included first in the emergency survival first aid kit would be your typical bandages, gauze that would be needed during bleeding situations. Along with the gauze and the bandages, you might want to include medications such as Aspirin, Acetaminophen, Hydrocortisone cream or other ointments that could be beneficial in a survival situation or an emergency situation. Also, include some type of tweezers or scissors. Make sure they are made of stainless steel as regular steel in time will rust inside your emergency survival first aid kit. Other than the item just mentioned, you can also include some type of pictograph chart or first aid booklet that will aid whoever is going to use the kit in emergency first aid procedures. Having a first aid survivable emergency kit is definitely a benefit in all situations whenever the time arises during an emergency."
