"Hi, I'm Bruce Marshall. We are in Budapest, Hungary in the showroom of Hungarian designer Piroshka Bushenhousie, and what we're going to talk about today is how to dress for a black tie event, and here we have Piroshka. And just because we're talking about black tie, it doesn't mean that you have to wear only black. Would you stand up and show the dress please. For example, black ties means it's a formal occasion which means, usually, you're going to either a dinner, an opera, or something that's really fancy. So, it's not like a cocktail party where it's a little bit more demera. It's a little bit more formal, and you can get the full length in it as demonstrated here in this dress and also when you think about a black tie event, women always want to know, like what should they bring as far as like purses or something to carry their personal things and it's usually always a small bag that goes along with the ensemble. And that's pretty much how you would do if you're going to dress for a black tie event. And just because the event is black tie, you can go from full length to also knee length with your dress level as well. So, there's no real rule about it other than that it should never be a casual dress. It should be a much more formal event or something much more formal that you would wear. Even if it's a wedding or a gala dinner, that's pretty much what black tie means, and even for men, it doesn't mean that you have to wear a black tie, just formal."
