"Hi, I'm Bruce Marshall standing here with Cotta who's going to demonstrate for you how to wear the proper cocktail dress for a cocktail party. Since cocktail parties tend to start rather pretty much early in the evenings and go no later than 9:00. You basically will have someone in a dress such as this where it's not a long formal length, but cocktail parties, they usually start, the dresses start around the knee and that's pretty much standard; and because they go into early evening, sometimes you would have a shrug or pullover or little valero jacket that would accompany it because it could get a little chilly sometimes. But the basic concept of the cocktail dress is that you want something that's easy, attractive, and that you can basically drink in. This is the important thing about a cocktail party dress. When you see a cocktail dress, two things you may notice is that sometimes they come in two pieces. It's always something to have to cover yourself up in the afternoon because usually it gets a little later and a little cooler because cocktail parties tend to go from 5:00 o'clock up until no later than 9:00, and as Cotta is showing you, it's a two piece. So, that's what we're doing here, and that's what we're showing you with the cocktail dress."
