"Hi, my name's Dave Andrews. Today, I'm going to show you how to make a histogram. To make your histogram let's open up Microsoft Excel. Select the Start button, go to All Programs, Microsoft Office; let's find excel. Open up a Excel document that has your histogram data. I'm just going to go to Open; I'm going to select Histogram. Here is my data that I'd like to make into a histogram. This is my input data for that actual histogram, and these are the ranges that I'm going to use for it. To make the histogram let's go to Data, and on the Data Analysis tab click on Data Analysis. We want to select in these analysis tools the Histogram, and press OK. For our Input range we're going to select our input data. Simply click in the Input Range field and using your mouse select the fields that comprise your input data. We'll do the very same thing for the Bin Range, which is this next column. Click inside the bin range and select your bin range data. Now that we have our data selected just press OK. That's created a frequency chart from our data. We can use this frequency chart to create just a simple bar chart by highlighting it all, going to Insert, Bar, and just a 2D Bar Graph. There is our histogram of the frequency from our data. It's that easy to create a histogram. My name is Dave Andrews, and I've just showed you how to create a histogram."
