"Hi, I'm Chris from Superservice.com. Let's talk about how to clean your LCD screens. Now LCDs are used for desktop computer monitors, the flat panel monitors, as well as laptop computer monitors and TVs. There are several LCD TVs, monitors, and laptops out there. The key to an LCD screen is you don't want to use any harsh chemicals on it. Some people will use products such as the blow off dusters to blow the dust and that off of the screens. The problem with these dusters is they contain butane most of the time. Any of these dusters will freeze or cause extreme cold on whatever surface they're blown onto. The problem with that with an LCD screen is you could actually crack the screen, slightly, or cause dead pixels. So don't use one of those dusters on your LCD screens. Also, the actual harsh chemicals that you would apply directly to the screen, such as nail polish remover, or 409 or chemicals like that, have harsh chemicals inside of them such as acetone that can actually eat through the plastic in the screen. You do not want to for any reason use harsh chemicals like nail polish on your laptop or LCD screens. The best chemicals are going to be a citrus based or soft chemical. Now the citrus based are natural chemicals, are something like the Clorox Greenworks product. Also, you can get just a standard Windex style product, that's got soft chemicals like rubbing alcohol and ammonia in very low quantities inside the product. If you'll spray these onto the screen and then use a soft paper towel, like a Viva paper towel, then you'll have a completely clean screen and your LCD will be in perfect condition."
