Using Outlook With AOL

"Hi I'm Tod Amazeen and I've been an internet business consultant for 15 years. I'm going to show you how to use Outlook with AOL. Microsoft Outlook is a registered trademark of the Microsoft Corporation, a company with which I have no affiliation. With Outlook open click on tools scroll down and select account settings. Make sure to select the e-mail tab from the series of tabs across the top and click on new just below. Select the first option which is Microsoft Exchange Pop 3, IMAC or http and then click on next. In the your name box enter your name as you want it to appear when you send an e-mail and then in the e-mail address type in your AOL e-mail and enter the password. This is the password you selected when you set up your AOL account and then click on the box below to retype your password. By clicking on next we'll have Outlook automatically detect all of the settings it needs in order to set up your AOL account. We'll do this first and then we'll manually go back and configure the server settings so for now we are going to click on next. This process may take several minutes. When done you'll see the message that your Pop 3 e-mail account is successfully configured and a congratulations button on top. At this point you can just click on finish. If for some reason you had a problem connecting to the AOL server you can click on manually configure server settings and I'll walk you through that and now we are going to click on next so if you want to manually configure an AOL account again in your name enter your name as you want it to appear when you send an e-mail, enter your full e-mail address, select Pop 3 as your account type, in the incoming mail server enter pop.aol.com and in the Outgoing mail server enter smtp.aol.com and in the log in information enter your username without the @aol.com and enter your password. Leave the remember password button checked and make sure that require log on using secure password authentication is checked and then click finish. You'll see that your new e-mail account appears in the list and click closed. You've just learned how to use Outlook with AOL. I'm Tod Amazeen."
