"Well my name is Contessa Hunziger. I am an LPN, I work for Heartland Occupational Medicine. I've been doing this for a little over a year and a half now. And I've been a nurse for over ten years. A registered nurse is actually a step higher than what I am. They have a little more schooling. They can be a BSN which have a bachelors of science and nursing, or they can have an associates degree where they just bridge over from an LPN, it takes about nine months or so. I'm kind of looking into doing that myself here at some point in time. There's a few things they can do, paperwork wise and things like that. That they can do more than an LPN does. It kind of depends on what their background is, and their schooling because there are some who can specialize in different areas because they've taken certain classes. The one we have here, she is kind of our head nurse sort of like, she has to deal with JACO and things like that, we kind of go to her if we have any problems or you know, different things like that. But I don't know, they're pretty much like we are. They do make a little more money than we do because they have had the little extra schooling. But it just kind of depends on you know, what their criteria is for where they're working at. Thank you for watching, my name is Contessa Hunziger, I'm an LPN, I work for Heartland Occupational Medicine."
