"Hi my name is Athena Reich and I'm a singer, songwriter and music host here in New York City. In this clip I'm going to talk about how to play the electric keyboard. It's very simple really, you just have to plug it into the wall. It will come with a power cord over here and you plug it into the wall and you can get a pedal and stick it into the sustain button so that it'll sustain the notes and you push it on, the power button right here. There's a volume and there's often different sounds on your keyboard, a harpsichord sound, an electric piano sound, there's all kinds of sounds. For example, here is an organ sound, here is a harpsichord sound. It's very fun and a lot of keyboards also have a recording feature where you can play a bit of music and record it and play it back. So, there are keyboards that are more complicated and they will come with a manual. But a basic keyboard has sound, volume, pedal and a basic recording feature. This has been Athena Reich in New York City."
