"Writing a better resume objective is one way to get your resume noticed. I'm Gloria Campbell President and CEO of Advantage Training Systems located in St. Petersburg Florida giving you some ideas on how to write a better resume objective. The objective is really the statement, your marketing statement. It's that piece that will follow your name, your address, your phone number, your email address. It's the first thing after that; that a potential employer is going to see. So, it's the opportunity for you to shine. Make sure that it is not a contrite statement or one that you have used for years. Make it personal. It can be changed very easily. So, if you're applying for a specific job make sure that the objective statement relates in some way to that position. Also make it personal. Talk about I am, and what you want to do and how you feel this particular position would help you do that. A better objective statement will really set your resume apart from the thousands of others that the company is going to be getting. Practice, write, try it out on some friends and see what they think. I'm Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg Florida giving you some ideas that will help you write a better and more effective objective statement."
