I'm Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida, and I've got some ideas that will help you make sure your resume is seen. Writing a cover letter for any position requires that...there's several components. Your address, today's date, the employer's information. If there is a reference number, a job number or a code, you might also want to include that in a reference line. But, the thing that really will get you to that next level is, number one, why are you writing? What is it about this particular position as a receptionist, or the company, do you think you could make a difference? Why are you qualified? This is where you really begin to shine. If you enjoy being a receptionist, you're the first contact for customers, you have an opportunity to make the best impression for that company. Make sure you include in why you're qualified how you do that, and how good you are at your job. Always remember to close by summarizing what the position is, and why you think you are the best person for that particular job. My name is Gloria Campbell.
