"I'm Layla Beth. Today I'm going to tell you a little bit about becoming a catalog model. You must be fit and toned. You have to have a good figure. You also have to have clear skin and white teeth; the whiter they are the better. You must always know your measurements. Measure yourself constantly. The reason for this is companies want models who can fit perfectly into their clothes. You will be asked often so it's best if you know ahead. Comfortable having your photograph taken and build your portfolio. It also helps to find an agent. When you locate an agency be sure to send them your resume and a head shot. While you are awaiting their response you can contact a local photographer who can help you build up your portfolio. Often times you can shoot for free in exchange for photos for your portfolio. Be on time for any go see or interview your agent sends you on. It's important to always be professional. Look good and bring your portfolio, head shot and resume. Lastly don't get discouraged. It takes a lot of work but if you hang in there you'll have some successes. Good Luck."
