I'm Gloria Campbell, President and CEO of Advantage Training Systems located in St. Petersburg, Florida, and you've been asked to write a request for a transfer. You may be the subordinate or you may be the superior, the manager or the employee. But in writing that request, there are several things that you want to make sure that you include. One of the things that you want to do is see if the company has a form that you're going to use. In which case, it makes it a little bit easier. But if not, then you will actually write a request for transfer, a job transfer. And again, the key things that you want to include is: who is the transfer for? Make sure you have your name, if you're writing it, or the employee's name. Make sure that you write the job that they are requesting a transfer to. You might also highlight any requirements for the new job, and how those skills will mesh with the employee, and then always write that you recommend this person for that position, and why. I'm Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida. Writing a job transfer request should include your recommendation that that person deserves that transfer."
