"Hi I'm Kim with Simply Beautiful in Austin, Texas. Let's talk about how to get rid of blackheads using home remedies. So it is pretty simple, a blackhead is a clogged pore and what we need to do is open that pore and draw out the blackheads so the easiest way to do that is to get a hand towel, get it warm, not too hot but you want to get it warm enough to open that pore up and you are just going to take it and wrap it on your face. Leave room for your nose and mouth so you can breath. Leave it on there for about five minutes or until it starts to cool. We want to get it off there before it gets cool. The pores are open now nice and open. So what we are going to do next is take a clay mask, any clay mask will do, about the size of a quarter and just blend it on to your skin. You want to do it all over and I'm just going to demonstrate right here on Alena's cheek, about like that and you want to leave it on for about 8 to 12 minutes, don't let it completely dry that will dry out the surface of your skin and your skin will be more prone to produce more oil to compensate for that. So 8 to 12 minutes and then just use the same towel and wipe it off. The clay mask draws all the dirt and impurities out of those pores that we have opened with the steam so you will have smoother skin. It will be tighter and the pores will be smaller."
