"There's all different types of retail opportunities available. Whether it's in a warehouse environment, whether it's in a retail clothing store or grocery store. There's different ways to apply for retail opportunities. My name is Kelly. And I'm here to give you some advice and helpful tips on applying for retail jobs. There's two ways that I would recommend applying for a job. There's always on-line. You can go to the company's website, type in the name of the company. Search the career opportunities. A great thing to do when you're searching on-line for career opportunities. Would be to go to the current job openings. And search your local market. Find out what's available to you. And fill out an application. The other way to apply, would be to go into the store itself. And fill out a paper application if it's available. A lot of companies are moving away from paper applications. And the only way to apply would be to apply on-line. But if a company offers a paper application. Take the application, fill it out completely. I would always print neatly and use blue or black ink. When you turn in your paper application, I would ask for a manager. Give the paper to a manager. So that they have an opportunity to meet you. Put a name to the face. And a good strong hand shake is always a good, helpful thing. So those are few tips that I can offer for applying for a job. Either on-line or in a store for retail opportunity. I hope those tips are helpful. Thank you."
