"Now I'm going to talk about how to set your bike up, or what to look for when doing dirt jumps or looking for a dirt jumping bike. You can't really take your cross country mountain bike and turn it into a dirt jumping bike. It's not designed for it, it's not made for it. This bike here is specifically made for dirt jumping. It's a twenty inch BMX bike, that has a reinforced steel frame. Little bit higher end components, and the geometry on it's kind of weird, it's got a longer top tube, but the rear chain stay is really relaxed towards the back, which allows you to get the front end of the bike up and jump it really easily. The other thing is, they do come in different frame sizes. I can't ride a twenty inch standard BMX bike like this one, dirt jumping bike, so I would have to go with something a lot bigger, like something like this here. Which is the same sort of thing. It's a dirt jumping BMX bike, except it comes with a lot bigger wheels on it. Much bigger frame, but as you can see it's still set up the same way, everything's just a lot bigger. So make sure when you go into look for this stuff that you get fitted properly, and you talk to somebody who knows the sport."
