"Hi, my name's Joe, and we're going to talk today about the quality of a pool table. The quality depends a lot on where you're going to be using the table. What I mean by that is a commercial table is very heavy. It's made of; the bed of the table is made of slate so that it can take a lot of abuse, a lot of use, a lot of wear and tear. A home table is normally not going to get near the play that a commercial table gets so the slate or that is the bed of the table is normally a little thinner. The weight of the, overall weight of the table is going to be less, so it will do fine for home use. But in in a commercial atmosphere it would not last very long before it would start getting out of level and showing a lot of wear. Once again, the quality of your table depends an awful lot on the cost that you put into your table. The more expensive tables have the heavier and thicker slate. So, the biggest thing is you need to determine whether or not you're going to use it for home use or you're going to use it for commercial use. Home use will be less. Commercial use; the table will cost more."
