"You think to yourself, over and over again, how do I put eye shadow on? How do I choose the right colors? Everyone else is wearing fabulous eye shadow, and I just can't get it right. My name is Sylvia Russell, and today, I'm going to show you how to apply eye shadow. Now, I'm going to give you basic tips. Make sure you always have good brushes. Make sure you keep them clean, and sanitized, very important. Take a flat brush, and always start out with a natural color of your skin. Sometimes you can go a half shade lighter. Close your eye. Apply the shadow to the entire lid, making sure to go under the brow, like so. Go ahead and just saturate the lid, with the lighter color. This is your base. This is something that is going to get the eye ready for any color, that you want to apply. Continue to add color here, and sweep it out. Since it's very close to your natural color, this just allows you to blend, making sure that the color is on nice and even. Now, for your contour color, make sure you have a brush that maybe is angled, like so. This brush is angled, or you might want to use a smaller fluff brush, for your contour. Now, contour is a color that always enhances or gives depth. Always shake off any excess color. We don't want too much pigment. Lift the brow, like so, and you can actually see the lid or the brow bone. Simply go back and forth, like so, and begin to create a line, using the brow bone as your guide. There you have it. Easy as one, two, three, and her eye is complete. Now, I know that you have the ability to create beautiful eyes. This is how you do it. Easy as one, two, three. My name is Sylvia Russell, and this is how you apply eyeshadow."
