"Okay, how big a war is too big? Well, we're talking about the card game, you know, let's leave the actual war and the politics to other people. That's not what this is. How big a card game war is too big? Technically, any even number that divides into 52 is an acceptable game of war but really do you want to pass out two cards to twenty-six people? So ,my submission is that eight player is acceptable and you don't really want to go past that. There's eight right there. So, you have to think of how many people you can get around the table. You have to think of the ages of the people. Since war is often played with children, you have to consider, I can't imagine playing war with eight kids or should we just go out and play dodge ball or play in the street? Well, as you can see, eight's as about as far as you can go. It's interesting to note though that eight doesn't divide evenly into fifty-two, so you have to have four cards left over. Just throw those out and now you're ready to play eight handed war."
