I'm with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida, and I'm going to give you ideas on how to conduct an informational interview. One of the things you want to have or you certainly want, you want to have information available. It may come in the form of a binder with information about the company, jobs, information the candidate may need to know. The other might be a CD where you will be able to play that and have people in a group review that information. It may be a leave behind or a take away like a pamphlet. The idea of an informational interview is that individuals will be able to gain information about the company, about jobs that are available, job requirements, there may be special projects that are coming up and you may not have time to set up for a hundred people to be interviewed and you just want to narrow it down to those people that have the specific skills that you're looking for.
