When you are beginning a modeling agency you need to definitely have a passion and have motivation and determination just like any business. When you are beginning to market your new business you will need to have a solid name that you are going to stand behind. You need to brainstorm that name and also a slogan that would work best to have. If this is a brief description of what it is that your business does in less than a few words alone. Now with that being said you want to make sure that you are marketing yourself, advertising so that your brand is getting out there with potential clients, new clients, you want to make sure that the previous experiences you have had in the past, any networking that you've done, previous clients you have worked for, see if you can bring them on board. You want to make sure you have a solid foundation before you spend any money whatsoever getting all the hoots and whistles that goes along with the business. That comes after you make a little bit of money. You want to get on line, do some research, send some e-mails, what I would suggest doing is going on line to different websites and filling out, under the contact us, if you fill out under their website they are most likely to get back to you because it doesn't go to spam mail so if you go on line you can get their contact information and start getting so called cold leads you want to make sure you turn them into warm leads. You want to start making phone calls, contacting them and find all their information on their website. You want to pick up that phone, give them a call, show your personality, try to get your personality through the phone so you can start making connections and clients. You want to make sure you use your referrals and references from other referrals in the industry to make sure you are getting the best clients that you possibly can when you are starting out your business. It's difficult, it really is, don't get me wrong but definitely marketing and advertising your company and pretty much you are trying to sell yourself and why they should use you instead of your opponent or your competition. What is it that you and your modeling agency does differently than those other companies out there? That is something that you need to decide for yourself and you really, I would do a business plan and kind of structure it so you can have a better feel for what it is, what your goal is and what you have set in mind and that you want to accomplish through doing this modeling agency.
