"Hi, I'm Kelly, I'm an aesthetician and makeup artist at Ulta Salon and Cosmetics and I'm going to give you some tips today on how you can clear clogged pores. One of the easiest things that you can do to help to clear clogged pores is to use a facial scrub. They have a lot of scrubs on the market today that are infused with beta hydroxy acid such as salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is one of the best beta hydroxys that you can use to help to clear clogged pores. Basically what is does is it penetrates deeper down into the pore to bring the clogging to the surface to expel it and get rid of it. You want to make sure that you are using a scrub that has a smooth bead, nothing that's too rough or jagged, those can be really abrasive on the skin. So just by actually the physical scrubbing motion, its pushing that bead deeper down into the pore and helping to bring the clogging to the surface. You can also use topical products such as this one here. This is a salicylic acid based treatment cream and you can put this on wherever you experience clogging or all over, just rub it in and basically what its going to do is just its going to help keep the pores really nice and clean and help expel any clogging that you have. Another really great thing you can do to help you with your clogged pores is to get a facial at least twice a month and have an aesthetician perform extractions on you to help with any persistent clogging. So those are some tips that you can use to help with clogged pores."
