"Hi, my name is Veronica Baragas with MyWigglesandGiggles.com. I'd like to share with you how to start a daycare in a church. Well first off, I would like to find out basically what church it is that if you have a specific church in mind, is it the church that you attend. Start talking to the office, the administration, people in the church that kind of, whether they have room for it and then next you want to check with your department of family protective services. There are different regulations as far as regular centers go when its attached to a church mainly because of the programs that you're going to provide and I think a lot of the times they're not really allowed to do full time daycare so sometimes they can be like mom's day out or drop-in programs. So definitely do your research and trying to find out first starting with office administration and see if its even allowed and then check with your certain state regulations because they're going to be different from state to state and from church to church so make sure that you have a good understanding of how the two are going to come together with state regulations and church regulations as well."
