"Okay, so when thinking about how to feed your dog a balanced diet you definitely want to have as the basis for it a good dry food. Wet food is good and dog's will usually like wet food a little bit more, but it won't clean their teeth and you really don't want them to get used to eating only wet food. It can also be really expensive. You want to have a quality food that's approved by all important dog food rating agencies, and you also want to have a food that's at least twenty to thirty percent protein. This particular food here is almost all protein. It contains absolutely no grain. It's all meat and vegetables essentially. The dog should probably be fed twice a day in most cases, and you want to use portion control with most dogs. Most dogs will continue eating if the food's available. Not all will. This dog; you can pretty much put food down, and if she's not really hungry she won't eat. You also want to make sure that the dog likes the food, so they should, if you take one piece they should act like it's a treat, here you go, and as you can see she does. If she doesn't express any interest in the food it's probably not going to be the right food for the dog to maintain itself on."
