"My name is Anthony Maddaloni, and I'm going to talk about how to reset a 1250 DR. So basically, when you're resetting this light, you're going to be moving it. It is extremely hot light to use. So when you're moving it, you want to be really careful about letting that bulb cool down. So as that bulb is hot, you don't want to pick that stand up. I've done this before. If you're on sets and you see lighting techs, a lot of times, they'll have gloves, even if they're working in really hot heat where they'll be using some pretty heavy gloves. And that's just so they don't burn themselves when they move that stand. You'll be surprised how quickly the top of a light stand can actually get hot. So when you're resetting it, you want to let that light cool down a little bit before you actually handle it. And you want to...you want to be careful. One thing, too, is you want to shut the light off before you pack that light into your kit when you're done shooting for your session. That's one thing that you really want to be careful when you're resetting this 1250 DR light. And because this light is so bright, setting it in different parts of your location really requires a photographer to really sit and look at where you're bouncing this light off of. Another thing that you want to watch is that you're not going to set anything on fire -- if you have gels or even any kind of fabric around that. I have seen...I mean, its kind of funny now in retrospect because I'm not watching something burn because of a light I had, but I have seen it happen and it's not funny when this happens. So that is some tips on how to set a 1250 DR."
