"I'm Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems in ST. Petersburg, Florida. Conflict at work is inevitable. You can't avoid it. So what do you do about it. First thing you can do is to expect it. It will happen. And once it happens you want to effectively handle that conflict. Make sure that whom ever the person is that you are having the conflict with that you would immediately get with them and begin to try to understand what the problem is. Sometimes it's simply a miscommunication. Sometimes it's what they heard from someone else it may be causing the conflict. I also recommend that you get, you have a mediator. That you, the person who you are in conflict with and then an additional person that you all sit down. The other thing in resolving conflict is to not let it go on too long. So if there's a problem talk immediately to the person that is in conflict. Make some suggestions and ideas on how the two of you can begin to work together and you can begin to have more of an open dialog. Conflict is inevitable, how you handle it is what's important. My name is Gloria Campbell and I'm with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida."
