"Today we're going to talk about how you know when your nail polish is dry. And that could be a lot of different, go a lot of different ways. First it's going to depend on are you using a base, two coats of polish and a top coat. If you're using all of those and you're going by the manufacturers instructions, putting nice thin coats, it should be about a half an hour. But now, then you also have to take into consideration if you're going to be out in the humidity. If you're in the humidity everything's going to take a lot longer to dry. Don't ever try to polish your nails in the sun. You'll go to put it on, it'll drag, it'll stay sticky. It won't dry. Another thing to remember, certain colors depending on the brand, tend to take a little longer to dry. One coats might dry faster. Anything with two coats is going to take a little bit longer and as long as you're not puddling. For instance if you take and glob it on. That's going to take longer. So as long as you have a nice smooth application, I would say about a half an hour."
