"My name is Walt Case. I own Card Traders of Austin in Austin, Texas. We sell a variety of sports cards and sports memorabilia, as well as some gaming cards. One question that has been posed is, "What is the most valuable Pokemon card?" In the height on the Pokemon mania back in the late 90's and early 2000's, the big card on the market was the Charizard card. It still is probably the most popular and most expensive card out of the Pokemon set. If you look in the Beckett price guide for Pokemon cards, that card books between seventy five and a hundred and twenty five dollars. Because of the lower demand for Pokemon right now, I would not believe that it would be possible for you to get that kind of money for your Charizard card. That continues, however, to be the most expensive Pokemon card on the market, and is the one that is probably the most likely to be a sellable card in today's market."
